Inconel601(unsn06601) nickel-based alloys have high high temperature strength, excellent oxidation resistance, anti-carburization and sulfur resistance. Especially in the environment of rapid temperature change and repeated oxidation, it has excellent peeling resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in various heat treatment furnace components, diesel car glow plug components, etc.

Processing heat treatment of inconel601(n06601) nickel-base alloy
Inconel601(unsn06601) nickel-base alloys are not precipitation-hardening alloys, they cannot be age-hardened by heat treatment. When the temperature reaches 900 ℃ after cold working, the material will soften. If the material requires high temperature strength, it is recommended to carry out solution heat treatment at 1100~1200 ℃. At this time, the cooling method is water cooling, and air cooling can also be used according to the thickness of the plate. However, in order to avoid carbide precipitation, it is recommended to cool as soon as possible in the range of 500~800 ℃.
Machinability of inconel601(n06601) nickel-base alloy
Inconel601(unsn06601) nickel-base alloys are easy to hot work. The heating temperature is 1150~1200 ℃, and the hot working temperature is 1050~1200 ℃. Simple processing is possible below 850°C. Cracking will occur in the temperature range of 650~850 ℃, please avoid this temperature range during processing. In order to avoid carbide precipitation, it is recommended to increase the cooling rate in the range of 500~800 ℃. 601 alloys have excellent cold workability and can be processed into SUS310S and 800 alloys.
