Overview of GH3030 Nickel-based Superalloy
GH3030 is an early developed 80ni-20cr solid solution strengthened high-temperature alloy with simple chemical composition, good hot strength and high plasticity below 800 ℃, good oxidation resistance, thermal fatigue resistance, cold stamping and welding process performance. The alloy after solution treatment is single-phase austenite, and the structure is stable during use. The main products are cold-rolled plates, and can also supply bars, rings, wires, pipes and other profiles. It is mainly used for turbine engine combustion chamber parts working below 800 ℃ and other high temperature parts requiring oxidation resistance below 1100 ℃ but with small load.

According to the standard of hot rolled plate, cold rolled sheet, cold rolled strip, pipe, wire and cold drawn wire for cold heading, ω(FE)≤ 1.00%,ω(P)≤ 0.015%,ω(s)≤ 0.010%,ω(PB)≤ 0.001%,ω(Cu)≤ 0.007%.
GH3030 heat treatment system: solid solution temperature is 980~1020 ℃, cooling method for hot rolled plate, cold rolled plate, ring billet air cooling, wire rod, cold drawn bar water cooling or air cooling cold heading, pipe water cooling.
Variety, specification and supply of GH3030: it can produce deformed products of various specifications and can be delivered without heat treatment. Hot rolled plate, cold rolled plate and pipe are supplied after solid solution and pickling. The welding wire is delivered to the plate or semi-hard state by cold drawing, solid solution and pickling. Wire for cold heading is polished or drawn in the form of plate or straight strip or solid solution straight strip in the state of solid solution and pickling; deliver cold drawn bars in the annealed, annealed and pickled condition, annealed plus polished or cold drawn.
GH3030 melting and casting process: electric arc furnace melting or electric arc furnace melting plus electroslag remelting or vacuum arc remelting, non-vacuum induction furnace plus electroslag melting or vacuum arc furnace remelting or vacuum duplex process.
The purpose and special requirements of GH3030: The alloy has been tested for a long time on aero engines, and is mainly used for combustion chamber and afterburner parts, as well as parts such as the installation edge of the casing.

GH3030 Process Performance and Requirements
The results show that the alloy has good ductility. The forging heating temperature is 1180 ℃, and the final forging temperature is 900 ℃.
The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation and the final forging temperature.
After heat treatment, the oxide scale on the surface of the part can be removed by sand blowing or pickling.
