1. nickel-based alloy electrodes can be divided into five categories, namely, industrial pure Ni, Ni-Cu, Ni-Cr-Fe, Ni-Mo and Ni-Cr-Mo. Each type can be divided into one or more types of electrodes. This type of electrode is mainly used for welding nickel or high nickel alloy, and sometimes can also be used for welding or surfacing of dissimilar metals.

2. how to choose nickel-based welding wire

1.ERNiCr-3

Used for welding 600,601 and 800 alloy itself, and dissimilar steel welding ERNiCrFe-7 between stainless steel and carbon steel

For welding nickel-chromium-iron alloys within ASTM B 163,166,167 and 168

2.ERNiCrFe-6 for steel and nickel-chromium-iron alloy welding, steel and stainless steel and nickel-based alloy welding

3.ERNiCrCoMo-1 for welding nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloy and various high-temperature alloy dissimilar welding

4.ERNiCrMo-3

Used for nickel alloy, carbon steel, stainless steel and low alloy steel welding, mainly used for 625,601,802 alloy welding and 9% nickel alloy welding

5.ERNi-CI industrial pure nickel for welding of malleable cast iron and gray cast iron

6.ERCuNi for welding of 70/30,80/20,90/10 copper-nickel alloy

7.ERNiCu-7 for welding nickel copper alloy B 127,163,164 and 165 etc

8.ERNi-1 for the welding of pure nickel castings and forgings, such as: ASTM B 160,161,162,163 standard within the alloy

9.ERNiFeMn-CI for the welding of nodular cast iron, ductile iron, malleable cast iron and gray cast iron themselves or for their welding with stainless steel, carbon steel, low alloy steel and various nickel alloys

10.ERNiCrMo-4 for the welding of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy itself, or nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy and steel and most other nickel-based alloys

11.ERNiCrMo-11 is used for the welding of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy itself, or the welding of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy and steel and most other nickel-based alloys, and can also be used for surfacing of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy and steel welding seams

Nickel alloy knowledge

The main alloying elements are chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, cobalt, aluminum, titanium, boron, zirconium and so on. Among them, chromium plays an anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion role, and other elements play a strengthening role. It has high strength, oxidation resistance and gas corrosion resistance at high temperature of 650~1000 ℃. It is the most widely used and the highest high temperature strength alloy. Mainly used in the manufacture of aero engine blades and rocket engines, nuclear reactors, energy conversion equipment on the high-temperature parts.

Brief Analysis on Supply and Demand of High Temperature Alloy Industry in China

With the rapid development of aerospace, nuclear power and other fields in China in recent years, the market demand for high-temperature alloys is also increasing, which promotes the growth of high-temperature alloy production in China. Although my country's high-temperature alloy industry has developed rapidly, there is still a gap between the overall technical level and the world's advanced level. High-end varieties have not yet achieved independent control, and the gap between supply and demand is large.
